Most of the mods depends DLC's to work so answer is yes,you do need DLC's for modding the game. no you dont this game has billions of mods at least a few thousand or more do vanilla no dlc required. #14. Spectre Nov 1, 2021 @ 7:57pm. Originally posted by POUusnavy: Originally posted by Rynkar:
DLC feeling like an enclosed, sealed-off section of the game always bothers me, especially with TES/Fallout titles. New Vegas nailed this, as you said. I hate the feeling of "Oh, this must be the DLC area" or "Oh, this is DLC content" because of how different and isolated it usually feels from the base game and of course the other DLCs. 74.

HH can be done anytime. take whatever you want to. there is a limit on the carry weight you can take with you. I think it is 70. strong back or a speech check can allow you to increase the limit. DM is recommended for around level 20. all of your gear is stripped and you dont get it back til after you are done, so you dont need to take anything
The correct order of release is dead money, honest hearts, old world blues and lonesome road. You can techynicaly play the first 3 in any order but leave lonesome road to last as its the 'end' of the story for new Vegas. I played the dlc at level 15ish and had a bit of challenge. Just leave Lonesome Road at last.
I've finished OWB and HH DLCs and am lvl 37. I tried reinstalling the game data, I don't have the (CA) DLC item cause I deleted it a while back. I also tried reinstalling the dead money DLC. I see "dead money" appear in the DLC list, but still have just the radio signal. My lvl caps did go up with each DLC that I got.
